Description
A vintage split-fork tailpiece design that traces back to archtop models from the 1940s. Unlike a standard trapeze where both sides are identical, the Frequensator's two forks are deliberately different lengths — the longer fork serves the bass strings, the shorter serves the treble strings. That asymmetry changes the string tension behind the bridge on each side independently, adding more depth and warmth to the low strings while keeping the top strings brighter and more articulate.
