The Taylor 80505 is a genuine right-handed replacement nut designed for Taylor 6-string guitars with a 1-7/8" nut width. Made from TUSQ synthetic ivory by GraphTech, this nut delivers rich harmonics, balanced tone, and improved sustain over standard plastic materials.
Supplied as a partially shaped blank, the nut includes a pre-rounded top edge to speed installation and fitting. To ensure proper performance, the nut must be trimmed to match the guitar’s neck dimensions and the string slots filed to the correct depth.
