This two-hole replacement truss rod cover is made from black plastic and features a shorter length that is compatible with older Taylor guitars constructed before September of 2003.
How to Determine the Correct Fit:
- By Serial Number: If your guitar’s serial number is earlier than 20030917xxx (2003 = year and 0917 = month and day), it will take this short cover.
- By Measuring: The distance between the screw holes is 1.65” (1-21/32”, 4.19 cm).
