Description
Sabian 8" AAX Splash Cymbal
Sabian's AAX Series delivers the "Modern Bright" sound — consistently bright, crisp, clear, and cutting. At 8", this is the smallest splash in the AAX line, built for the fastest possible burst with strong, penetrating cut. Sabian's "Dynamic Focus" design keeps the response controlled at any volume, eliminating the distortion and volume threshold issues that plague lesser splash cymbals when played hard.

Player Notes
At 8", this is about as fast and immediate as a splash gets — nearly instant attack and decay, making it best suited for punctuating single hits rather than any kind of sustained texture. Compare against the 10" AAX Splash below if you want a touch more body and a slightly longer decay.
