Description
Sabian 19" AAX X-Plosion Fast Crash Cymbal
Sabian's AAX Series delivers the "Modern Bright" sound — consistently bright, crisp, clear, and cutting. The X-Plosion Fast Crash trades some of the standard X-Plosion Crash's sustain for a thinner build, quicker response, and a brighter, more explosive attack. At 19", the largest size in the AAX X-Plosion Fast Crash line, it carries a deeper tone and more complex overtones than the smaller sizes, while its thin build keeps decay quick enough to use as a crash/ride hybrid.
Key Benefits

Player Notes
As the largest size in this line, the 19" gives off a deeper tone and more complex set of overtones than the 14"-18" X-Plosion Fast Crash sizes. Like the 18", it's big enough to be played as a crash/ride with a quarter-note pattern while decaying faster than a comparable HH crash/ride — but it also works well as a straight accent crash, where its thinness keeps the pitch deep without excessive high-frequency cut.
