Description
Sabian 18" B8X O-Zone Cymbal
With a double 8-hole ring of response-enhancing holes, the 18" B8X O-Zone responds rapidly with a combination of bright explosion and dirty agitation. Like the perennial best-selling B8 Pro O-Zone, this radical model shares the multi-hole design found on HHX and AAX O-Zone crashes, but at a B8 alloy price point. The sixteen 1.5" holes lighten the cymbal's mass, so while size and volume stay the same, the response is noticeably faster since there's less metal to move.
Key Benefits
- Radical, aggressive, raw, and nasty sound unlike a typical crash
- Rapid response combining bright explosion with dirty agitation
- More body and spread than the 16" B8X O-Zone, while keeping the same aggressive character
- Ideal for drummers who play with speed, power, and aggression

- Natural finish
- B8 bronze construction

Player Notes
The larger 18" carries more low-end weight and spread than the 16" while keeping the same aggressive O-Zone bite — the 16-hole pattern (versus 12 on the 16") and smaller individual hole size (1.5" vs 2") reflect the different tuning Sabian used to scale the effect up to this size.
