Description
The original "Badass" name that's been the standard for premium replacement bridge hardware since 1972 — favored by everyone from BC Rich, Spector, and Kramer as factory-original equipment through the '80s to artist signature Fender models today. The T1 is a direct drop-in replacement for most Fender and Squier Telecasters, delivering a noticeably bolder attack, accentuated low-mids, and dramatically increased sustain compared to a stock Tele bridge.
What makes the T1 genuinely different: rather than traditional saddle height adjustment screws — which can rob tone and dig into your picking hand — the T1 uses a unique "set it and forget it" shim system instead. This maximizes direct string-to-body energy transfer for real sustain gains, while giving you a smoother, screw-free surface under your palm.
Benefits:
- Solid zinc bridge plate and saddles for fuller attack, enhanced sustain, and richer low-mid harmonic content
- Screwless shim-based height adjustment for improved comfort and better tone transfer
- 6 individual saddles for significantly more accurate intonation than a vintage 3-saddle design
- 100% reversible — no drilling, doesn't affect your guitar's original value
Features:
- Extended intonation screws for precise setup, even in alternate tunings
- String-through-body or top-load stringing options, with contoured through-body holes to reduce string breakage
- Angled recess hides string ball ends when strung through the body
- Oval mounting holes for easy alignment during installation
- Includes shim set, mounting screws, and hex wrench
Specifications:
- Fingerboard radius: pre-configured for 9.5" (adjustable via shims for other radii)
- String spacing: 2-1/8" (low E to high E)
- Material: Solid zinc alloy (bridge and saddles)
