Description
Used with a fret saw for cutting fret slots, this fret slotting miter box uses ball bearing guides to help the saw make faster, more precise cuts. It keeps the fret saw perpendicular to the fingerboard, and the ball bearing unit can be adjusted left or right to match blade thickness. Cutting depth is adjustable using the top thumbwheels.
Accommodates fingerboards up to 10mm thick and 74mm wide. The aluminum miter box includes three mounting holes for attaching it to a workbench.
Includes two templates, instructions, mounting screws, and spanners. Templates are indexed with the locating pin installed in the box for quick fret slotting. Includes Fender® scale templates, 25" and 25.5", and Gibson® scale templates, 24.625" and 24.75". Saw not included.
