Description
A solid-shaft roller potentiometer built specifically for the Jazzmaster and Jaguar rhythm circuit — the small thumbwheel-style controls mounted on the upper control plate, rather than a standard rotary knob pot. This 50K linear value is the traditional spec used for the rhythm circuit's tone control (the rhythm circuit's volume control instead uses a 1MEG linear pot, sold separately).
Fitment note: the solid shaft is sized for roller wheel knobs, not standard split-shaft knobs — make sure you're replacing a roller-style pot, and double check your shaft diameter, since USA-made Jazzmasters and Jaguars typically use CTS pots with a smaller 3.96mm shaft, while imported/MIJ models more commonly use this Alpha pot's 6mm shaft.
