Description
The industry-standard CTS potentiometer, built to the shorter-bushing, dimpled-back spec found on vintage-correct Fender and Gibson wiring. The short 1/4" bushing (versus the standard 3/8") is designed for easy mounting through a pickguard or control plate without excess threaded shaft poking through — the right choice for a vintage-correct build or restoration rather than a modern reissue with a thicker cavity.
Genuine left-handed option available — not simply reversed hardware, but a true reverse-log taper built specifically to feel correct when turned in the opposite direction.
Benefits:
- Industry-standard CTS quality trusted by major guitar manufacturers
- Short bushing designed for clean pickguard/control-plate mounting
- Left-handed version has a true reverse taper, not just mirrored hardware
Features:
- 250K ohm resistance, ±20% tolerance, audio taper
- Split, knurled shaft (fine spline, 24 tooth)
- Dimpled/dished vintage-style housing back
- Aluminum bushing and shaft
- Includes lock washer and dress washer
Specifications:
- Threaded bushing: 1/4" long, 3/8" diameter
- Knurled shaft top: 5/16" tall
