Description
A mini-format 250K linear taper potentiometer, commonly found in effects pedals and amplifier controls rather than as a guitar's main volume knob. Unlike an audio (logarithmic) taper — which is voiced to match how the human ear perceives loudness — a linear taper changes resistance in a straight, even ratio to how far you turn the shaft. That makes it the better choice for blend controls, mix knobs, EQ, and other parameters where even, predictable adjustment matters more than matching perceived loudness.
Benefits:
- Even, predictable response — ideal for blend, mix, and EQ-style controls
- Compact mini size fits tighter control cavities or pedal enclosures than a full-size pot
- Includes mounting hardware — no separate nut or washer needed
Features:
- 250K ohm resistance, linear taper
- Split, knurled shaft (coarse spline)
- Includes mounting nut and washer
