Description
A complete vocal studio in a single stompbox-sized unit. The VE-2 generates real-time vocal harmonies that follow your singing automatically — no music theory knowledge required — while layering in the reverb, delay, and pitch enhancement most singers would otherwise need a rack of separate gear (or a sound engineer) to dial in.
How the harmony engine works: the VE-2 offers three ways to set its key reference:
- Auto Harmony — plug your guitar into the VE-2's instrument input and it listens to the chords you play, automatically generating harmonies that track your progression in real time.
- Manual — set the song's key directly on the panel if you're not playing guitar yourself (or if your guitarist plugs in instead).
- Hybrid — combines both, following the guitar's chord progression while still referencing your manual key setting for extra stability.
24 harmony types are available — 12 core one- or two-voice harmony intervals, each with a fuller "variation" setting that adds more voices for a richer ensemble sound. Everything from a subtle vocal doubler to a full harmonized choir effect is on tap.
Beyond harmony, a full vocal effects chain:
- Echo section — reverb, delay, or a blended combination, dialed in with a single intuitive knob
- Enhance function — automatic dynamics control plus subtle real-time pitch correction, tightening up your live vocal without sounding robotic
- 3 memory slots — store and instantly recall your favorite harmony/effects combinations between songs or sets

- XLR mic input with phantom power — works even when running on batteries, so condenser mics are fair game
- 1/4" guitar/instrument input for Auto Harmony chord detection
- USB audio output lets you capture processed vocals directly into your DAW for recording or content creation
- Integrated footswitch for harmony on/off and full bypass; supports up to two additional optional footswitches for more live control
