The TU-3W starts with the same rock-solid, industry-standard tuning platform found in the legendary TU-3 — the tuner that's sat on more pedalboards than any other — and adds Waza Craft-level circuitry refinement on top. The result is the most transparent, pure signal pass-through Boss has ever put in a tuner pedal.

What Waza Craft actually changes: the headline feature is selectable buffered or true bypass, a switch most standard tuners simply don't offer. Flip to buffered mode and the TU-3W's refined buffer circuit fights signal loss and tone-sucking — essential if you're running long cable runs or a large, complex pedalboard. Flip to true bypass and your signal passes through with zero added electrical footprint, letting your guitar's raw tone hit your amp unaltered. Most players build their entire signal chain around this pedal precisely because it can serve as both a world-class tuner and a buffer stage in one box.

Tuning performance:

Tuning range: C0 (16.35 Hz) to C8 (4,186 Hz)

Accuracy: ±1 cent

Adjustable reference pitch: A4 = 436–445 Hz, in 1 Hz steps

Modes: Chromatic, Chromatic Flat x2, Guitar, Guitar Flat x2 (supports drop tunings down to 6 semitones below standard), Bass, Bass Flat x3 — with support for 7-string guitars and 6-string basses

Display modes: Cent mode and Stream mode, on a bright, easy-to-read 21-segment LED meter

High Brightness mode boosts meter visibility for outdoor stages

Accu-Pitch confirmation lets you visually verify you're dead-on before moving on

Auto-mute silences your signal the moment the tuner engages — no unmuted noise hitting the PA mid-tune

Features:

Selectable buffered/true bypass — a Waza Craft signature feature not found on the standard TU-3

Refined, transparent audio circuitry for the purest signal pass-through in the TU line

DC Out jack can power up to 7 additional Boss pedals, helping cut down on wall warts

Boss 5-year warranty

Specifications:

Power: 9V battery (included) or Boss PSA-series adapter (sold separately)

Current draw: 50mA standard, 110mA with High Brightness mode active

Connectors: Input, Output, Bypass, DC In, DC Out

Dimensions: 2.4" x 2.9" x 5.1" (H x W x D)

Why Buy From Arkansas Musicworks
We stock genuine Boss pedals sourced directly through authorized distribution, backed by our team's own setup expertise if you have questions.
